Terms of Service
Last updated: April 19, 2026. These terms apply to your use of this StandupGen deployment and its website.
Agreement
By accessing or using StandupGen, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The party that operates this deployment (“we”, “us”) may be a company or an individual hosting the app; if you use someone else’s installation, their policies also apply where they add terms beyond this page.
The service
StandupGen provides tools to generate Markdown standup summaries from activity in connected systems (such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, optional Google Calendar, and optional GBrain), optionally using an LLM when configured. Features depend on how this deployment is configured (OAuth providers, models, billing).
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service or any feature with reasonable notice where practicable. The service is provided on an as-is basis; see “Disclaimers” below.
Your account and integrations
You must use accounts and tokens you are authorized to use. You are responsible for activity under your session and for keeping any optional secrets (such as PATs) confidential.
Connecting GitHub, Microsoft, Google, or other providers is also subject to their terms and policies. Disconnecting or revoking access in those consoles may limit StandupGen without further action from us.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to violate law, others’ rights, or provider rules; to probe or break security; or to overload infrastructure (for example automated abuse of generation endpoints). We may suspend access that appears harmful or violates these terms.
Generated output
Standup text is produced from sources and models configured for this deployment. It may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing it internally or externally. The service does not provide legal, HR, or compliance advice.
Credits and payments
If this deployment uses credits or paid plans, fees, taxes, renewal, and refunds follow the checkout flow and the payment processor’s terms (for example Stripe). Credits and entitlements are defined by the operator of this deployment.
Intellectual property
You retain rights to your data in connected systems. We need a limited license to process that data to run the service (fetch, format, send to configured LLMs, and show results to you). The StandupGen name, branding, and software stack are owned by their respective licensors unless your deployment’s operator grants otherwise.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Third-party APIs and LLMs may fail or change behavior outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where allowed by law.
Governing law
Unless your operator specifies otherwise in a separate agreement, these terms are governed by the laws applicable to the entity operating this deployment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Contact
For questions about these terms for this deployment, contact the operator (support channel or developer contact shown in your OAuth or billing provider settings, or the open-source project’s maintainer channels).
